I received my professional design training at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City followed by a successful career in clothing design and later as a nationally recognized quiltmaker and fiber artist.
With the advent of digital photography I became intrigued with the ease of use and endless creative possibilities. As an artist I combined my passion for photography and fiber. Building a library of digital textures I am able to weave and layer compelling visual compositions leaving the viewer to ponder whether it is a painting or a photograph.
I continue to challenge myself daily as I view and capture the ever changing world around me.
I have curated and mounted several solo exhibitions in New York and Pittsburgh. My work can be found in museums, libraries, corporate settings and in private collections.
